BBQing On The Mighty Columbia
Hope everyone had a great 4th of July. I went boating on the Columbia & Snake rivers. The weather was perfect and I found the perfect river BBQ food.
I marinated chicken tenders and pork tenderloin in teriyaki sauce for 2 days then piled them on bamboo skewers and BBQ’ed them to perfection on the shores of the snake river. Having these delicious BBQ morsels on a stick was not only easy but yummy too. I also put red peppers,pineapple,red onion and tomatoes on separate skewers which added even more flavor to the kabobs. We had a great time on the river which is one of the reasons why we love living in Tri-Cities.
