Tony Iommi Diagnosed with Lymphoma

News coming to us from Premiere Radio have informed us that Black Sabbath's Tony Iommi has been diagnosed with the early stages of lymphoma. His reps ask fans to send "positive vibes" and say that he's "determined to make a full and successful recovery."

Black Sabbath are working on their first album of original material in 23 years, and the band's members plan to head to the U.K. to continue recording while Iommi undergoes treatment. No word on how this news will affect their tour plans.
