Top Events to Get You Out the House Thanksgiving Weekend
Yes, spending time eating turkey, watching football, and putting up with your annoying cousins is great on Thanksgiving Day. But at some point you just HAVE to get out of the house! Here are some fun things going on Thanksgiving Weekend (that have nothing to do with Wal-Mart at 3am) to get yo booty out of the house and having a blast! Some things are great for the whole family, and some are perfect for adults looking for a mental break, but all will at least get you off the couch!
Wine country is gorgeous this time of year. And several wineries are having events for Thanksgiving in Wine Country. Wineries like Columbia Crest are having great events and excellent deals on wine and other sundries. And let's face it, loads of wine will help make the season very, very bright!
Stop beating up on each other and go watch some hockey players beat up on each other! Our Tri-City Americans have games on the 24th and 27th. Have a brew, have a dog, and watch some hockey!
If you're 18 and over and want to get your dance on, check out Stuff your Bass. A music fest featuring: Attrakt, C-Czar and Rootmere, 2 Evils, Disk Jockey F3lon, Beauflexx, and headliner, DARRIUS1. It will be a fun way to shake off that extra surfing you downed on Turkey day, and a nice welcome break from family, or hey bring them along if you actually have fun with them! :)
If you love horses and Christmas trees, this is your event! Get out of the house and in to fresh air at Red Mountain Trails for your Christmas tree and take the family on a horse-drawn wagon ride. You can get your Christmas tree, hang by a bonfire, and/or drink hot chocolate!
Wagon Rides: $5.00 per person OR, 2 ride free with purchase of tree. What a cool way to get your tree!
Yes, there will be movies to see, but get to the theater! The Richland Players are putting on another wonderful production! The Game's Afoot: Holmes for the Holidays is holiday mystery fun. Can you figure it out?
