The Benton Clean Air Agency recently downgraded the air quality in Tri-Cities from good to moderate. Reports say they now recommend that people with "asthma, diabetes, lung or heart disease, or who have had a stroke should limit outdoor activities or at least stick to less strenuous outdoor activities" The reason is a high pressure system is holding the air stagnant over the area and there is no storm in the forecast that will move the polluted air out.

Officials say the air quality will remain until at least next Monday.
