Tri-Cities Has TALENT! Beautiful Sidewalk Chalk Art!

Known for nurturing the artistic, Richland hosted its 18th Annual Chalk Art Festival in the Uptown Shopping Center.

People were encouraged to draw their masterpieces on the sidewalk, where shoppers and art enthusiasts alike could admire them.

I was able to talk to Hanford junior Kelly Hayes, who placed third (ages 13-17) for her beautiful portrait of a parrot. She says she wants to go to school to become an art teacher. Way to go, Kelly!
