The regular season has not started yet, but already the Tri City Americans have made a roster move. (Comrie #11 in picture).

Ty Comrie, the younger brother of Am's standout goalie Eric Comrie, has been traded.  According to information released by the team Thursday afternoon:

"Tri-City Americans Governor/General Manager Bob Tory announced today the team has traded forward Ty Comrie to the Vancouver Giants for a conditional third round pick in the 2016 WHL Bantam Draft.

“We wish Ty all the best in Vancouver and thank him for his contributions to our team,” Tory said.

Comrie, a native of Edmonton, Alta., was a third round pick in the 2012 Bantam Draft. He has played two seasons with the Americans, recording 10 goals and 20 assists in 135 career WHL games."
It's not the first move between the two clubs, the Americans acquired Kennewick's Taylor Vickerman from Vancouver Prior to the start of the 2014-15 season.
Earlier this fall, Comrie was invited to the Los Angeles Kings training camp, but had since returned to his parent WHL team, the Americans.
