Trying to Kick the Tobacco Habit?
A free tobacco cessation class is being offered Wednesday April 13th from 4pm to 5:30pm at the Tri-Cities Cancer Center.
This program will help participants recognize triggers for their tobacco use and identify ways to avoid or overcome them. Open discussions about withdrawal symptoms and the use of nicotine replacement therapy are also part of the program. For those interested, information and demonstrations of the new “e-cigarette” are available as well as limited supplies of no cost nicotine replacement patches. The Tri-Cities Cancer Center is able to offer the Tobacco Cessation classes, at no cost, monthly thanks to a generous contribution from Washington River Protection Solutions. Donations to the Tri-Cities Cancer Center Foundation stay local and are used to provide valuable non-reimbursed cancer programs and services for patients, their families and the community.
