Back in March it was announced that the annual stop in Washington for The Vans Warped Tour would be held at Marymoor Park in Redmond this year instead of the Gorge Amphitheater. Now, one week before the show, the tour stop has moved again. This time to the White River Amphitheater in Auburn.

Originally, the show was moved away from the Gorge for a few reasons. Holding the show in Redmond at Marymoor allowed easier access for kids in the Seattle area, brought the tour to an actual city, and was accessible using city transportation. Plus, with Warped Tour moving their schedule earlier in the year by about 2 weeks, Live Nation and The Gorge were already slated to hold their first, and what will probably become an annual event, Watershed country music festival.

Kevin Lyman, The Vans Warped Tour founder and producer, sent out this tweet last week:

Tickets that were already purchased for the Marymoor show will still be accepted at White River. Got questions? Shoot @KevinLyman a tweet. He responds to a lot of his followers. If you scroll back to July 26th on his tweets you can also see a few questions about this topic already answered.
