Look for a lunar eclipse on Tuesday that should turn the moon a dark rusty color. Some are saying it's the "blood-red moon" prophesied in different religions. But don't expect the end of the world. It's predicted to happen three more time in the next two years!

The burnt orange color comes from the Earth passing in front of the moon and blocking the sun. You know how after the sun sets in the desert it turns the sky orange? When the sun's ray's must bend around the Earth to reach the moon it appears orange when reflected off the moon's surface! How's that for cool science!

The four blood moons will occur in roughly six-month intervals on the following dates: April 15, 2014; October 8, 2014; April 4, 2015, and September 28, 2015."

Having four lunar eclipses in 18 months is very rare. Lunar eclipses are totally random. For 300 years prior to the 20th century there were none. What makes it even more special is we can see all four within the United States.
