If you have a tendency to speed on Washington's freeways, think again because the WSP is busting speeders with a special plane.

The plane doesn't use radar or laser, but instead uses special cameras and software that allow police to tell how fast you are going, according to reports.

They then alert a trooper on the ground and they quickly pull over the vehicle.

A speeding ticket in Washington State starts at $105 and goes up to $423.

Washington State is first among U.S. states when speeding is automatically considered reckless driving, seventh in average cost increase of insurance after one speeding ticket, and tenth for minimum jail time for a first reckless-driving offense according to WalletHub.com.
