This morning details came out about a Richland police officer that was refused service at a local convenience store but now more details have been released. Reports say that West Richland Sgt. Duane Olsen stopped by the Circle K located on West Van Giesen Street. The clerk working had been arrested by officer Olsen just days earlier, recognized him and refused to serve him.

The Circle K said that they take “these types of incidents very seriously and we are currently investigating this matter and dealing with it in accordance with our company practices. We value our relationship with the West Richland Police Department and truly appreciate the fine work they do within our community.”

So far there is no report on what punishment the clerk received that refused service.
