What is Kony 2012?

It's a major topic circulating around the internet this morning and everyone including Free Beer and Hotwings are talking about this 30 minute video, but what is Kony 2012?

To make a long story short it's a video about the head of Lord's Resistance Army Joseph Kony.  The video was made by a charity called Invisible Children who wants Kony to face charges on using children as soldiers and for other human rights crimes.
