After a tremendous lightning show before sunrise today, the next part of this system is Fast Approaching! 70-mph winds hit the coast earlier today, and was predicted to hit us about 11 a.m. By noon we were lashed and bashed. And it isn't letting up.

By 4:30 a lot of the clouds from the south had moved on, but the flags continued flapping. Portland this morning had shingles blown off roofs and trees knocked over. No word yet on the level of damage here. It is unlikely winds will get stronger.
