The device turned out to be a pellet gun, but schools these days have zero tolerance policies.

Eisenhower High School in Yakima was on lock down earlier Wednesday after school officials were alerted to a group of students allegedly possessing what looked like a weapon.

Four students were briefly detained after a police sweep that began around 10:15am.  Turns out the students were exchanging a pellet gun. No word on if they were suspended.

The lock down ended at 11:15am after the police sweep found no threats.
