Alien Ant Farm Enter the Studio to Begin Recording New Album
It has been more than six years since Alien Ant Farm released ‘Up in the Attic,’ and now the band is in the studio to record a new album that should be available in early 2013. Alien Ant Farm has entered Groovemaster Studios in Chicago to begin the process. They will be working with Johnny K (Disturbed, Staind) and other producers.

Filter Announce Summer 2012 Tour Dates
Filter have expanded their summer tour, adding several new dates (listed below.) The band entered the studio in April with producer Bob Marlette to record their fifth studio album ‘Gurney and the Burning Books.’ It is due to be released sometime later this year.
The Offspring Offer Full Stream of New Album ‘Days Go By’
Due in stores on June 26, the Offspring‘s latest album ‘Days Go By’ is now streaming in full at RollingStone.com. It’s the band’s ninth studio effort, and was produced by Bob Rock (Metallica, Motley Crue), who also produced their previous album, 2008‘s ‘Rise and Fall, Rage and Grace.’

Metallica’s Rock AM Ring Gig To Stream Live

Slash is busy making music and producing movies, and now will also be the subject of an upcoming documentary. A two disc, 131 minute documentary ‘Slash – The Cat In The Hat: The Story So Far’ will be released on Blu-ray / DVD on Aug. 21.
