The Smashing Pumpkins broke new ground when they released their double-disc, epic ‘Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness’ back in 1995. Now, Pumpkins mastermind Billy Corgan claims that a deluxe edition of ‘Mellon Collie’ could contain material from up to 75 unreleased tracks.
Red Hot Chili Peppers Releasing 18 Songs Over the Next Six Months
The Red Hot Chili Peppers aren’t known to release a plethora of music in a short amount of time. Their most recent album, last year’s ‘I’m With You,’ came out five years after their previous release, 2006′s ‘Stadium Arcadium.’ The Rock and Roll Hall of Famers must feel like they need to change with the times because they intend to release 18 new singles throughout the rest of this year.
