The Washington Supreme Court recently decided carrying kitchen knives is not covered by the 2nd Amendment's Right to Bear Arms.

He sued the state claiming carrying a knife was protected under the same amendment was firearms.

The Washington justices were split on the issue with four warning the decision would likely be overturned by the U.S. Supreme Court since federal law does recognize knives to be weapons, and therefore protected by the right to bear arms.

Then again, can't we all quote our favorite Australian and remind everyone paring knives aren't really knives...
