Last night there was a fire near the corner of 3rd and Lewis in downtown Pasco. According to kndu.com, the fire started around midnight in the abandoned building that was the old Liberty theater. They say that the apartments next to the building lost power and the people living there had to be evacuated.

No one was hurt last night, but firefighters say that "4th Avenue in Pasco may be closed for most of the day today between Lewis and Clark Streets" so remember that if you are driving through Pasco.
