Here’s Where Veterans Eat Free Today

On Veterans Day all veterans and active duty military can eat free at many restaurants. Military ID or proof of service is usually required and it's a good idea to call ahead to make sure the deal is on at that specific restaurant. A partial list:

--Applebee's: Veterans and active duty military get a free meal from a limited menu.

--Bonefish Grill: Veterans and active military get free Bang Bang Shrimp appetizers.

--Buffalo Wild Wings Free Wings: Veterans and active military get a free small order of 10-12 traditional or boneless wings and a side of fries.

--Chipotle: Veterans and active military get a buy one get one free discount for a small burrito, bowl, or salad from 3pm to close.

--Chuck E. Cheese's: Veterans and active military get one free personal 1-topping pizza.

--Denny's: Veterans and active military get free Build Your Own Grand Slam breakfasts to 12.

--Dickey's Barbecue Pit: Veterans and active military get a free meal which includes a sandwich, side and a Big Yellow Cup, up to a $12 total value.

--Dunkin' Donuts: Veterans and active military get a free donut (one per customer while supplies last), but no purchase is required.

--Famous Dave's: Veterans and active military get a free two meat BBQ Salute Combo (Dine-in only, does not include beverage).

--IHOP: Veterans and active military get free Red, White and Blue pancakes. Also, select IHOP restaurants will also offer a combo of two eggs, hash browns and choice of two bacon strips or pork sausage links as part of the Red, White & Blue Pancake promotion.

--Little Caesars Pizza: Veterans and active military get a free $5 HOT-N-READY® Lunch Combo.

--Olive Garden: Veterans and active military get a free entrée from a special menu.

--Outback Steakhouse: Veterans and active military get a free Bloomin' Onion and a beverage. There is also a military discount of 15-percent off the total check from valid for military members and their families.

--Red Lobster: Veterans and active military get a free appetizer or dessert from their select Veterans menu.

--Red Robin: Veterans and active military get a free dine-in Red's Tavern Double  Burger and Steak Fries.

--Texas Roadhouse: Veterans and active military get to select from a free special veterans lunch menu including a beverage and sides. (Dine-in only)
