Is Pokemon Distracted Driving a Problem in Tri Cities?

I saw a person playing Pokemon causing distracted driving on my way home the other day. That driver was obviously looking on their phone and then suddenly stopped in the middle of the road for no reason, I think because they saw a Pokemon. When I drove past them I could see the screen through their window and saw them playing, it surprised me. Police have made such a point of people not texting and driving I thought this wouldn't be a problem. Then I did a simple search online and I found the problem is everywhere.

There have been reports of Pokemon Go causing people to wreck their cars all over the country on almost the day the game was release. On July 14th, a man was driving in New York while playing and drove into a tree according to sources. You would think the game wouldn't let you play while your driving but it does, my wife plays when I drive almost every day.

Take it from me, playing Pokemon Go while driving is way more dangerous then even texting and driving, so just do not do it.
