Wouldn't it be grand if every child could grow up in a wonderful, carefree, loving, and nurturing environment that is safe, healthy, and filled with all the best the world has to offer?

Creativity in children should be nurtured

Watching your children learn and grow into the amazing adults they become is the joy of being a parent.

The difficulty comes when every breath they take (you are taking with them) and when things don't go well, we experience the worst pain ever just watching our kids go through suffering or disappointment. We wish we could take the pain from them and just handle it for them. Of course, we can't.

Raising kids can be painful on so many levels

But, the truth is, each child has to go through their own journey and learn whatever lessons they need to in order to get through life! Humans don't learn much from having an easy time. Growth comes from struggle.

That being said, this video brought tears to my eyes as I contemplated how very sad the whole situation became.

Some things kids should not have to ever worry about

Please watch this video in its entirety to understand the struggle of this particular Mom in the end. It certainly brings to mind the issues we have in today's world that need to be addressed.

We have great schools in the Tri-Cities area and we have improved awareness and security in every school. Is it enough?

At what age should you talk to kids about Gun Violence?
