You Can Book A Room At The Lodge Made Famous By The Movie "The Shining"

The lodge became the backdrop of The Shining with exterior shots shot in 1979 with actors Jack Nicholson and Shelly Duvall.

If you've been thinking about a fun "spooky" road trip for the fall, why not check out the legendary Timberline Lodge on Mount Hood?

No worries, Jack isn't hanging around there but I can't say that about the red rum twins.

If you really want the right room, room 217 is the most requested room at Timberline Lodge because of the original novel by Stephen King.
