Kennewick School District Schools will be closed starting Tuesday, March 17th but the District is still planning on feeding kids in need.

The Kennewick School District posted on their Facebook page the details on how your kids can enjoy a free breakfast and lunch courtesy of the Kennewick School District.

Here are the details:

We plan to provide free drive-up or walk-up "grab-and-go" meals to children weekdays from March 17 through at least April 24 (including April 6-10, the week of Spring Break) at several school sites.

The meals will be distributed from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at each site.

Two meals will be served at once – breakfast and lunch – to each child 18 or younger who's in the car or walks up to the site, regardless of which school they attend.

Cars should approach using the student drop-off lane. Students may also receive meals by walking up to the drop-off lane.

Children must be present to receive a grab-and-go bag. Meals will not be distributed to children who are not present.

Additional locations may be added at a later date depending on available resources and need.

Meals will be served at the following school sites:

Time: 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
