I have several friends who are wondering where they're gonna watch the Superbowl because their satellite TV provider isn't currently carrying Fox TV. And while most of them know that TV signals are broadcast through the air just like radio, the thought of getting an antennae and hooking it up just seems like too much of a hassle.

It's really quite simple, actually. I haven't paid for cable or satellite TV for over 5 years now and get great HD TV for free with a digital antennae (I do pay for HULU and Prime). I live in West Richland and was having a little trouble with the first antennae I bought. But they've come a long way in a short period and most are much improved. I settled on the one pictured and have no signal issues what so ever. It sells for about $80 on Amazon but cheaper options are available.
