Last night at the American Music Awards, Panic! at the Disco performed a rousing rendition of Queen’s iconic “Bohemian Rhapsody.” Whether you love or hate the pop-rock act, Panic’s “Bohemian” cover is absolutely worth watching, as frontman Brendon Urie unleashed his inner Freddie Mercury for an arena crowd.

Covering “Bohemian Rhapsody,” is as difficult a challenge as any band can accept. Panic! at the Disco broadcast their performance live from Sydney, as they’re currently touring the southern hemisphere.

Urie's vocals at the AMAs hit the extremely high mark necessary to do “Bohemian Rhapsody” justice. Plus, the PATD frontman took his role as rock ’n’ roll showman very seriously, jumping atop his piano as the song’s headbanger section made liftoff.

The live crowd ate up Panic! at the Disco’s performance, as have YouTube viewers since the video was posted last night. Panic also took home an American Music Award for Favorite Rock Artist, beating out Imagine Dragons and Portugal. The Man.
