Black Label Society have just announced the 2014 release of a new album! Led by guitar god Zakk Wylde, the metal band will unleash their ninth album, 'Catacombs of the Black Vatican,' on April 8.

Black Label Society have unveiled the video for 'Ain't No Sunshine When She's Gone,' a cover of the classic Bill Withers song. It's from the live CD 'Unblackened,' due out on Sept. 24. A live DVD, also called 'Unblackened,' but with a slightly different track listing, comes out the same day.

Black Label Society have just announced the release of 'Unblackened,' a new live offering from the band. 'Unblackened' will become available on DVD, Blu-ray and digital video and will feature 17 performances of BLS fan favorites.

Black Label Society first discussed the idea of unplugging their instruments for a special performance last year, and Wednesday night (March 6) in Los Angeles the special semi-acoustic taping finally came to fruition. Zakk Wylde and crew let the cameras and audio equipment roll during the performance at Los Angeles' Club Nokia for what will eventually be a new CD/DVD release called 'Unblackened.'

Several members of the hard rock community are mobilizing to help those in need by recording a benefit track to raise funds for those affected by Hurricane Sandy. The collective, which consists of Black Label Society's Zakk Wylde and JD Deservio, Sevendust's Morgan Rose, Candlebox's Kevin Martin and New York outfit the Infinite Staircase, will record the as-yet-untitled song with plans to release

First former Kittie bassist Jenn Arroyo moved into the ‘Big Brother’ house and now bassist James LoMenzo who has played with Megadeth, Black Label Society and White Lion throughout his career, is joining the new season of ‘The Amazing Race.’
