While the band continues to work on their followup to 2008's Death Magnetic album, fans can be held over with their IMAX 3D concert film, Metallica Through The Never. We were able to get our hands on a couple copies of the DVD and we are passing them out next week!
After screenings earlier this year at events including the Aspen X Games, South by Southwest and the Newport Film Festival, Green Day's documentary ‘¡Cuatro!’ will be released Sept. 24 on DVD and via iTunes. Watch the trailer above.
Korn released their tenth studio album, ‘The Path of Totality,’ on Dec. 6, 2011. On that day, Korn celebrated the album with a special record release show at the Hollywood Palladium featuring Skrillex, Kill the Noise, Datsik and other ‘Path of Totality’ contributors.
It’s hard to believe that throughout their 17-year career together, Staind have never released an official live disc, but all that changes this summer when ‘Live From Mohegan Sun’ makes its debut in several formats. The CD version will be available on July 10 followed by the DVD/Blu-ray out on Aug. 14.
Stone Sour are releasing a live DVD, filmed during their 2010 tour, that will only be available to members of their ‘Dead Generation’ fan club. Fan Club member or not, you can still check out this clip of the band performing ‘Digital (Did You Tell)’ from the ‘Live at Brighton’ DVD.
Stone Temple Pilots have moved the release of their ‘Alive in the Windy City‘ DVD and Blu-ray to June 26, which pushes the offering a little closer to their late summer North American tour.
They don’t have a singer and haven’t released a CD since 2007, but a new Velvet Revolver DVD is set to be released. ‘Let It Roll – Live In Germany’ will be in stores May 25.
