Lorde looked like she could barely keep it together when Katy Perry beat her for 'Best Female Video' at the VMAs, but she only had to wait about an hour before getting her chance to romp onstage to accept her own award.
I decided to tune in for a few minutes to catch the MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday night. Considering I was about to watch an awards ceremony celebrating the best music videos put on by a channel that doesn't actually show any music videos, I should have realized I was making a mistake. None the less, I watched. Sadly, I subjected myself to the train wreck that is Miley Cyrus.
Green Day will continue their ‘love’ affair with MTV. The band, who’ve played the MTV Video Music Awards several times in the past and are premiering their ‘Oh, Love’ video tonight on the network, will perform at the 2012 MTV Video Music Awards.
