A business in Richland, Washington was served a search warrant and the owners were arrested on suspicion of sex trafficking and money laundering.
Richland Massage Parlor Busted in Suspected Crime Ring
On Tuesday, May 2, 2023, the Richland Police Department served a search warrant in a joint investigation involving the Eastern Silk Spa Massage Parlor. That location on 1207 George Washington Way is part of a large investigation by King County investigators involving sex trafficking and money laundering. The Richland Police Department Street Crimes Unit served the search warrant along with 11 others all over the state.
3 Female Sex Trafficking Victims Were Found at Richland Massage Parlor
With the 11 search warrants served, police found 22 women that are suspected of being victims of sex trafficking. 3 of those women were found at the Richland location by Richland Police after the search warrant was served. The women were helped by the Support, Advocacy, & Resource Center (SARC) of the Richland Police Department and given food, housing, and other resources.
2 Main Suspects Were Arrested
Police managed to arrest the 2 main suspects in the case, one found in Burien and the other in Bellevue. Detectives say that the large crime ring was being run out of Burien, Washington. This is a developing story, more will be posted as this story develops.
