A prison guard for the Walla Walla penitentiary was arrested after he was involved in a shootout when a drug deal went south. Reports say that Willard Dynamite Palmer, the corrections officer, and his brother Anthony Leshawn Palmer were trying to sell three pounds of pot to a group of men in Walla Walla. Something happened during the deal because the men started arguing and then the men opened fire on the brothers. The brothers returned fire and tried to flee but crashed their car in the process. The brothers left the car which was found by authorities with bullet holes in it. They were both arrested and booked into Pierce County jail on suspicion of first-degree assault and unlawful possession of a controlled substance with the intent to deliver.

No one was hurt in the shootout and police are still looking for the other men involved.
