Want to do something special this holiday season for your fellow neighbors? West Richland's Operation Candy Cane is looking for non-perishable and canned food donations and the event is tomorrow!

Benton County Fire Protection District # 4 is doing their 19th Annual Operation Candy Cane at Flat Top Park in West Richland tomorrow from 4 PM - 8 PM. They are asking that you drop off a non-perishable and canned food donation and you'll get a candy cane for your donation.

Fire Trucks will be lighted up with Christmas Lights and Santa will be out there as well passing out candy canes. They are asking people to stay in their cars as they'll be doing the food drive as a drive-thru because of COVID-19 restrictions.

All food will be donated to local charities right here in the Tri-Cities with the assistance of Catholic Charities.

Firefighters will also be at the fire station 420, located at 2604 Bombing Range Road.

It's been a tough 2020 for a lot of folks so these food donations will go a long ways for those that really need it this holiday season.
