Whenever we hear the news of RadioShack stores closing we say, "Of course, they were doomed." But why? Was there NOTHING that could be done? They became a weird accessories store selling phones. Had you been CEO what would you have done differently?

Some are blaming BestBuy, some are blaming the "radio" in the name (puh-leez!), but we all agree the store couldn't stay relevant. Why not? They had fantastic brand recognition and enviable locations. Zumiez, Spencer's Gifts, Bath & Body Works, Costco all have evolved. Walmart and Target added groceries. Why didn't RadioShack adapt?
