11 YO Kennewick Boy Attacks Grandfather with Knife on Elm St
An 11 year old Kennewick boy was arrested after attacking his Grandfather with a knife late last week. Police answered a call on Friday morning April 14 about an "out of control" teen on Elm Street that had attacked his Grandfather according to news reports. The boy attacked because had been scolded for not get ready for school. The Grandfather grabbed the boy by the wrist but the boy broke free and ran to the kitchen and armed himself with a knife. Somehow in the confrontation the Grandfather was slashed in the arm by the boy but he did not need medical attention.
The now unidentified 11 year old boy was arrested on suspicion of felony assault and booked into the Benton-Franklin Juvenile Justice Center. No official word if he is grounded or not.
