12 Tips To Survive Watershed This Weekend
The 8th annual Watershed Country Music Festival happens this weekend at the Gorge Amphitheater in George Washington. The Grant County Sheriffs department is offering up 12 tips to make this an epic event and encourage you to have a 'Shedder Buddy'
Here are their suggestions!
#Watershed2019 Safety Tips
Tip 1 – Go in a group and within that group have a “Shedder Pal” who always has your back.
Tip 2 - Stay hydrated. Drink lots of water. Don’t wait until you feel sick or thirsty.
Tip 3 - Watch out for the safety of other people in the crowd even if they aren’t your “Shedder Pal”.
Tip 4 - Prepare an “exit strategy” and have a plan for what to do if there is an emergency.
Tip 5 – Watch out for people looking for “vulnerable” men or women at concerts. Let security know if you notice those behaviors.
Tip 6 - Don’t take drinks or drugs from strangers. Better yet, don’t do drugs at all.
Tip 7 - Lock valuables in your car’s trunk. Don’t leave things visible thru the windows/in your tent.
Tip 8 – Feeling sick or do you see someone who is? Contact security, EMTs or go to the medical tent.
Tip 9 – See something or someone suspicious? Call 9-1-1 or contact security or sheriff’s deputies. The Sheriff’s Office is inside the campground next the main entrance.
Tip 10 – All front seat belts must be utilized prior to riding in beds of trucks. Safer: don’t ride in truck beds.
Tip 11 – If you ride in the bed of a truck, you need to be fully seated on the bed, no riding on outside of vehicles.
Tip 12 – Make Good Choices. Enjoy Yourself.
