75 Acres of Wheat Burn Up in Walla Walla

Well, a burn ban is now in effect in Walla Walla due to weather concerns. Washington, no stranger to wildfires, is getting a head start on the season.

A fire started on Lower Waitsburg Rd has scorched 75 acres of wheat in Walla Walla.

It had initially been contained before re-igniting. Nobody was injured, nor were any structures damaged.
