Memphis has a great musical tradition and rock music will definitely be on display as part of the Beale Street Music Festival. Alice in Chains, the Black Keys and Smashing Pumpkins have been selected as the headliners for the three-day music weekend.

Alice in Chains headline night one of the eclectic festival May 3 at Memphis' Tom Lee Park, playing alongside hard rockers Deftones and Yngwie Malmsteen, alt-rock favorites Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeroes and the Joy Formidable, pop stars Hall & Oates and Sheryl Crow, among others.

The Black Keys find themselves atop the May 4 bill, which also features ZZ Top, The Roots, Dwight Yoakam, Gavin DeGraw, Jerry Lee Lewis, Patti Smith, Cracker, and many more.

The Smashing Pumpkins will finish out the festival on May 5, preceded that night by the Flaming Lips, Phoenix, the Black Crowes, Three Days Grace, Papa Roach, Gary Clark Jr., AWOLNATION, Public Enemy, Lucero, Deer Tick and more.
