Alleged Child Rapist From Finley Arrested at Mexican Border

Amidst a nationwide investigation, one Finley man has finally been found by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) at the Mexican border.

23 year-old Salvador Lopez-Vidal is suspected to have been involved in child molestation and rape in Finley. The investigation was started by Benton County officers in 2016.

He was found after fleeing to Mexico after a nationwide warrant was issued for him. Charges against him include four counts of first-degree child rape as well as two counts of first-degree child molestation.

He was caught trying to re-enter from Mexico in San Diego, where he is currently being held.
