Another Smokey Summer? Experts Think So

Remember how many days last summer we were told not to go outside because the air quality was so bad? Expect more of the same.

Wildfires in Canada and northern California pushed smoke into Washington state, especially the Mid-Columbia. The United States' National Interagency Fire Center believes Summer 2019 will be another season with great wildfire risk.

Between that and the wildfires Canadian agencies are predicting, we're going to have free samples of the best North American smoke.

Smoke not your flavor? Stock up on protective masks and be prepared to stay indoors a bit during July & August. Remember elderly people and babies are at risk during times when the air quality is hazardous. I remember being on edge because last summer was my daughter's first.
