Another Wrong Way Head-On Accident on I-182, One Killed
There was another wrong way head-on accident on I-182 on Monday, this time resulting in one fatality.
29 year old Gregorio J. Chayrez was heading east on the westbound lanes of I-182 on Monday when he slammed into a Dodge Caliber near Wellsian Way, according to reports.
The driver of the Dodge, 55 Norman D. Simpson Jr., was killed in the accident. His two passengers survived, Kaythryn A. Simpson, 53, of Adams, Wis., and Sabra A. Simpson, 20, of Friendship, Wis.
Chaurez had allegedly been drinking at the time of the accident. He was booked in the Benton County jail.
This is the second wrong-way head-on accident on I-182 on under one month. The first this month happened back on May 18th when an 88 year old man died.
