John McKay is a noteable figure in radio and media in the Pacific Northwest, and has been for his 38 year plus career. He oversees Newstalk870 AM KFLD Talk Radio, does extensive work for the Pacific Northwest Ag News Network, and also contributes to 610 KONA AM Talk Radio. He is also the PA announcer for the Tri-City Americans WHL Hockey team, and is considered a solid source for legislative and crime reporting in the region.
