Backstage at the Classic Pink Floyd “Back Catalogue” Photo Shoot
A while back, we featured the story of the classic "Back Cover" Pink Floyd iconic poster, being re-imagined with plus sized models.
In doing some research on the story, we found this, from 2011, comedy writer Conor Lastowka imagining what it must have been like to eavesdrop during some down time with models in between takes at the original photo shoot.
I love me some Pink Floyd hijinks.
....I wasn’t going to say anything, but I come here, I strip down and they paint a cow on me.
...You and your "Atom Heart Mother" cred...
...You bitches need to shut up and just drink me in. I am looking like the Hot Side of the Moon. I may not even wash off and just go straight to the beach afterwards, turn some stoner heads...
Also, if you're a Pink Floyd fan, drummer Nick Mason is doing a bunch of shows in the U.K. under the moniker Saucerful of Secrets playing early Pink Floyd material off albums up to "Dark Side of the Moon."
He's also releasing a box set in late August of his previously recorded solo material now re-mastered.
