Benton Franklin Fair & Rodeo Honoring All 2020 Tickets in 2021
Another sad casualty of the COVID-19 pandemic is the cancellation of the 2020 Benton Franklin Fair & Horse Heaven Round-Up. Alas, this would have been the 72nd year for the Fair, so moving on, now we can look forward to next year as the 2021 events are set to be held August 24th-28th.
Refunds for 2020 purchased events tickets are available, but all tickets will be honored for all things fair in 2021. All tickets, fair bucks, carnival wrist bands, round-up and admission tickets will all be good to go.
On the bright side, this will give the organizers more than a year to book some killer acts (can we get some cranking rock?) for the 2021 edition of the Benton Franklin Fair & Horse Heaven Round-Up
Earlier this year, the President of the Benton Franklin Fair & Rodeo Board of Directors said the fair attracts close to 120,00 people over a week pumping about $18.5 million into the Benton County economy alone.
Benton, Franklin and Yakima Counties are the only three counties in the state stuck in Phase 1 of Gov. Jay Inslee's Four Phase Safe Start reopening plan.
As of this writing, the Central Washington State Fair at the Yakima County Fairgrounds is still a tentative go. Obviously Yakima County must come into COVID-19 compliance for this to even remotely have a possibility, but with the Central Washington State Fair one of the latest ones to take place, there is still time to monitor and assess the situation. The Central Washington State Fair in Yakima is set for September 25th-October 4th, 2020.
