It's bad enough that you break down on the freeway now drivers need to be worried about catalytic converter thieves roaming the highways. Several thefts have occurred near Richland/Pasco on Interstate 182.

It's like a scene from the Mad Max movie where marauders were searching for gas. It looks like if you break down on the interstate highway, your vehicle could get ransacked.


I know that everyone's situation is different but it's a heads-up that leaving your vehicle on the side of the freeway leaves you open to more damages.
