Books to Movies – What Do You Think?

Have you noticed how many movies lately have been based or originated as books? It seems to be a rising fad doesn't it? I decided to look it up and there are surprisingly even more than I thought. According to the Movie Licensing USA Public Libraries, there were a total of 17 books that became movies just last year. So far three have arrived this year (not including the comic book originated hit, Iron Man 3) As well as two more are already announced (Thor and Ender's Game). Now when we hear about movies based on in the universe of a book, we think one of two things. Either, "Oh I bet Hollywood ruined that", or "I can't wait to see how that looks in the theater!" So I got to thinking, what do you think? Are you anticipating these new movies based on or around books? What books do you want to see become a movie? Let us know what you think.
