Calling all Hanford High Alumni!
Did you have kids that went to Hanford high? Or did you attend the high school? If so, you are both invited to be part of their group photo!
Hanford high School was built in 1972, it was originally part of a K-12 complex and included a elementary and a junior high, they eventually became a middle school. The middle school closed in 2005 when Enterprise Middle School was opened in West Richland.
My two daughters both attended Hanford high school and my son went to Richland high, who were rivals, so it definitely made sports interesting in my home! However, on game night we only had to visit one stadium for either team. When they built Hanford they did not include a stadium so Richland had to share... and share they did!
Well there will be no more sharing! Hanford is getting their very own athletic complex! To kick off the unveiling, they need YOU! They are calling for all Hanford high alumni to come be part of the largest school picture ever! So dig out those purple and yellow hoodies, scarfs, hats and get dressed up to represent! Didn't keep any of your high school gear? That's ok too! They will have spirit gear for sale on sight.
The event starts at 4:30 on October Friday 29, they will have food trucks (Doggie Style Gourmet & Don Taco), music, games and military vehicles to tour. The picture will be at 5:30 so don't be late to the party! They will play their first official game starting at 6:00 p.m. in the stadium, it will be a night to remember, full of fun and new beginnings!
Hope to see you all there and GO FALCONS!
