A 39-year old Yakima man was taken into custody Wednesday night in Pasco for two robberies earlier in the day.

Kevin Hehr is accused of robbing Pik-A-Pop on North 4th Avenue.  A store employee reported that when confronted, Hehr flashed a knife he'd swiped from a display case in the store.

Sometime later Hehr allegedly helped himself to cigarettes from behind the counter at Rite Aid on 4th and Bonneville, shoving the clerk out of his way as he left the store.

Both stores have the robberies on video.  Just after 5 pm, Hehr was located at Peanuts Park, where police arrested him with the blade he'd taken from Pik-A-Pop in his possession.  Hehr was booked at the Franklin County Jail for robbery.
