Woman and Dog Escape Deadly Benton City Camper Fire
A woman and her dog were able to make a quick escape from their mobile home in Benton City, after it caught on fire on Saturday. The home has been deemed a total loss due to the fire.

The Benton County Sheriff's Office and first responders were called out to Benton City near State Route 225 at 12:54 pm.
Deputies say the woman was changing her propane tank for heat. An open flame nearby caused the camper to catch fire.
Firefighters were able to contain the fire to the mobile home. The 1978 vehicle was declared a complete loss.
There were no injuries in the fire.
The Benton County Sheriff's Office reminds everyone to be aware of open flames nearby when changing propane tanks.
