Canadians will no longer need to cross the border in to Washington to get marijuana. Not even sure if that happens, but as October 17th, 2018 pot will be legal in Canada! Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau announced that the entire nation will be able to smoke it up this fall. Okay, he didn't say it like that, but yes, the whole country will be able to legally purchase weed. The bill passed in Senate on Tuesday, which will make Canada the second nation ever to legalize marijuana for the whole nationwide. Uruguay was the first country to do it back in 2013.

The bill is committed to better protecting Canada's youth and hopes to draw money away from organized crime. What do you think? Is this a good idea or a bad idea? Should the US legalize it everywhere like Canada, or leave it to the individual states?
