Kennewick Police are on the hunt for a driver that fled their burnt-out vehicle on 10th ave.

The car light up in flames yesterday at the intersection of S. Huntington and W. 10th Ave. and while the Kennewick Fire Department was putting out the flames, bystanders said that the driver fled on foot.

KPD posted this accident report of their Facebook page:

Officers are currently on scene with Kennewick Firefighters who have just put a vehicle fire out in the intersection of S Huntington and W 10th Ave. The vehicle was fully engulfed and the male driver was reported as fleeing on foot. The outside eastbound lane on W 10th Ave will be closed while the roadway is cleared off. At this time no injuries have been reported and we are asking anyone knowing the whereabouts of the driver to contact (509) 628-0333 using KPD Case 19-39241
