Oregon State Patrol says the fire truck was at fault.

Apparently there is a plan for a new fire station because the existing one is too old. It's in a weird part of town with no traffic lights. And that is bad because emergency vehicles need to be able to control traffic lights.

That's what happened last week when the Pendleton Fire Department was called to two fires at the same time.

As one truck pulled out, it hit a car. There was no way to detain that car at a stop light while it went on its way.

No one was seriously injured, and after OSP arrived the fire fighters were permitted to continue.
